Miranda Kerr Dazzles at David Jones Melbourne Preview

After having spent the past week in Sydney, Miranda Kerr changed up locales to continue her Land Down Under David Jones promotions in Melbourne on Wednesday (August 10).

The 28-year-old Aussie supermodel donned a leopard print blouse with a black skirt as she partook in the David Jones Spring/Summer fashion preview on Burke Street.

Meanwhile, Miss Kerr took time to chat with the Sydney Morning Herald during the course of her visit - as she spoke with the Australian paper about the difficulties involved in balancing work and motherhood.

Miranda, who welcomed son Flynn with husband Orlando Bloom back in January, dished of the hectic juggling act, "I am breastfeeding and pumping. When I am at work, I am pumping. I feel like a milk maid, but it is worth it."

Zoe Saldana COVERS The September Issues Of "WOMEN's HEALTH" & "LATINA" Magazines, Discusses Near-Nervous Breakdown

Zoe Saldana is a busy lady.  The YBF chick is promoting her new high-energy thriller Colombiana and covers both WOMEN'S HEALTH and LATINA this month.  Get the deets and highlights from the articles inside and find out about her near-nervous breakdown.....

Zoe Saldana graces the cover of the September issue of Women's Health (on newsstands August 9) and opens up about getting into sick shape for Colombiana and working with some of the hottest men in Hollywood.  Here are some highlights....

On her action-packed roles like Cataleya in the upcoming
Colombiana...

"Physical roles give me a chance to learn something new. Like the fact
that I can grab a gun, disassemble it, and put it back together. I'm a
girl from Queens. I've never gone, 'What am I doing today? Oh, I'm gonna
grab a gun and learn how to use it.'"

On dressing according to themes...
"I'm always referencing. If I'm listening to some old songs from Whitney
Houston, I might put some spandex stuff together."

On her midnight tattoo sprees...

"We woke up the next morning and were like, 'That totally [bleepin']
happened!'"

On her Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
co-star Orlando Bloom...

"Orli is a real English gentleman. He can hang out with girls in the
same way that he can hold his own with a bunch of guys."

On her Guess Who co-star Ashton Kutcher..
"He's so talented at conceiving ideas. And the initiative! We have
similar personalities: neurotic. Up, down, here, there, and everywhere!"

Also on magazine racks.......

Zoe's covering the latest issue of Latina Magazine (on newsstands August 16) where she shockingly admits that after starring in Avatar, the highest grossing film of all-time, she nearly had a nervous breakdown.  See the highlights....

On dealing with her newfound fame:

“The year after Avatar was just emotionally overwhelming. I was traveling all over the world, waking up in different time zones. Your body gets exhausted, and by the end of the year I just collapsed.”

On coming close to a total breakdown:

“I was in Paris training for Colombiana, sitting in my hotel room, and I couldn’t stop crying. I couldn’t stay awake. I must have slept for an entire month. It took me the rest of the year, even as I was working and shooting Colombiana, to pick myself up. Thank God my family was there.”

On the post-Avatar effect:

“I just want the best filmmakers in the world to tell me, ‘You’re good, kid, you’re legit.’ The recognition will never get old, and I’ll never get accustomed to it. I don’t ever want to, because that will mean I’m taking it for granted. That’s why I work, not for the luxuries or the awards.”

On the simple joys of life:

“I just stay at home and do absolutely nothing. When I was younger, that would have made me feel like such a failure. Now that I’m older, I know what it means to shut down. I don’t shower if I don’t want to. I don’t answer e-mails. It’s a healthy way of being selfish. You know you’re old when gardening, the Food Network and voice notes from your nieces and nephews blow your mind.”

On her small circle of friends:

“If you surround yourself with good people, if you’re having a bad day – which everyone does – they will protect you, and it will never reach any kind of surface. But if you surround yourself with people who don’t really love you and care for you, they’ll be the first ones to expose you. That’s dangerous.”

On the key to her 12-year relationship with actor Keith Britton:

“I think the only reason we’ve made it this long is because we don’t listen to anybody but ourselves. We’ve still managed to sustain a relationship in a world where half of the people we know are divorcing or going through problems. It’s like that song we both love by Frank Sinatra – we did it our way!”

Interesting.  Zoe and Keith are also now engaged.

Britney Spears' Tourmates Nervo Tease New 'Club Records'

Aussie twins tell MTV News they haven't strayed from dance music roots in spite of 'amazing' Femme Fatale Tour experience.

With Britney Spears' flashy Femme Fatale Tour closing out its remaining North American dates later this month, it's fair to say that many of Ms. Spears' concert-going fans have gotten to know Olivia and Miriam Nervo pretty well.

In fact, when Brit first announced her Femme Fatale lineup back in April, promising on her website, "Nervo will get everyone on the dancefloor," dance music fans were ecstatic about the inclusion of the DJ/producer twins whose writing credits include a song for Spears and David Guetta and Kelly Rowland's "When Love Takes Over."

MTV News recently caught up with the Australian sisters (and former models), and they told us that bussing across the States and sharing the stage with Nicki Minaj, Jessie and the Toy Boys, and Brit herself, has been a stellar opportunity.

"We've definitely seen both the girls, [Britney and Nicki], and we interact with them," Miriam, a.k.a. Mim, told us. "You are traveling to each city and you see the same people every day and it really becomes a family. So it's been an amazing experience."

"It's an amazing show," Liv added. "The girls, the lineup really works well together. You've got Britney, who I think is looking the best she's looked in a really long time and who really gives it her all on this tour. And then you've got Nicki, who definitely brings her edge to it. I'd never seen Nicki live, and I'm just so blown away. The girl can sing, rap — total respect to her!"

As the Femme Fatale Tour winds down Stateside before heading to Europe, Nervo are now looking to expand the fanbase they've built in the U.S. But while Liv and Mim have been a part of what might be considered the mother of all pop music tours, the duo insist that they intend to remain true to their dance music and DJ roots.

"When we signed the record deal, it was really important to us that we could take our DJing seriously and release club records," Liv explained of their Astralwerks label.

"Yeah, we want to be DJ artists," Mim added.

"That's what we love so, luckily, we can release some club records alongside our Astralwerks album," Liv said. "It just so happens that the Astralwerks single that we're coming out with is with two major club guys: Afrojack and Steve Aoki. It's called 'We're All No One.' We love it!"

While Liv and Mim do the singing on "No One," the beats are delivered by hard-hitting EDM producer Aoki and David Guetta protégé Afrojack (who's also behind Pitbull's smash summer anthem "Give Me Everything." So exactly what should fans expect to hear? According to Liv and Mim, they should expect the unexpected.

"It doesn't sound anything like Afrojack or anything like Steve Aoki," Mim teased. "It's gonna be an interesting one. It could fly, and it could flop. It's very different. It's nothing like any of the stuff we've done with any of the pop stars we've worked with."

And Nervo have worked with a few. Though nothing is locked in yet, the twin sisters have been busy exchanging ideas with the likes of Omarion and Macy Gray, as well as dance music acts Avicii, Norman Doray and John Dahlbäck.

"We're All No One" drops later this month. Fans can catch Nervo on the Femme Fatale Tour's remaining U.S. dates and on select dates of the Identity Festival, America's first traveling EDM fest, which kicks off August 11 in Indiana.

Jessica Alba Spy Kids Blog 2

Jessica Alba Spy Kids Blog 2

For the second entry in my "Diary of a Spy Mom" blog series for iVillage, I wanted to write a little more about the elusive balance between work and family.

I'll start by saying that I don't think I have or ever will achieve a perfect balance -- I mean, who can? I feel fortunate that I'm in a position in my career where I don't have to work as much as I used to. When I do work, I make sure that it's time worth spending away from my family: taking jobs where I'm genuinely passionate about the material and excited to collaborate with the actors and filmmakers involved. And HUGE BONUS: I am lucky that I am able to bring Honor to work with me. Her days revolve around her nap -- for now, at least -- and she spends a lot time hanging out with me in my trailer. I create a makeshift playroom with a Pack 'n Play for naps, I have lunch with her and spend all my down time with her.

We shot Spy Kids in Austin, Texas (where director Robert Rodriguez shoots all his movies), and our apartment wasn't far from set. Most nights I was able to make it home in time for bath and bedtime reading. There was also a great children's museum, and the Whole Foods headquarters in Austin has a playground that Honor LOVED. It was a great experience overall, and if I have to be away from home shooting a film, there's really no better place than being on a Robert Rodriguez film in Austin, Texas. Because he’s a father himself, there's such a family vibe to all his films.

In terms of day-to-day balance, our primary uninterrupted family time generally happens on the weekends, like most families with parents who work during the week. It's during those times where (my husband Cash Warren) and I decided that we need to step away from work completely -- no emails, meetings or texting -- and devote our undivided attention to Honor. It's important to us to not be "half-present," which can happen when you're still in work mode. It's something I learned from my mother and father, who at some points in my life growing up held down three jobs each. My brother Josh and I never felt like we were neglected or came second because when they were around, we were treated like we were the only thing that mattered to them and we always felt unconditionally loved.

For Cash and me, it's a never-ending, ever-evolving process to find moments where we can connect. It can be challenging enough to keep connected amidst the normal demands of life without children. To bring kids into the mix makes everything a lot harder and more complicated. We work at staying open and communicating. Most nights, especially lately, we have time with just each other (after we put Honor down). We don't do anything major, just make dinner and talk about our day or watch TV together.

As far as what we do together on the weekends, well, we're creatures of habit. No adventures involving saving the world -- just a lot of time spent swimming, going to the park and having barbecues.

Tori Spelling Wants to Plan Shannen Doherty's Wedding

Tori Spelling Wants to Plan Shannen Doherty's Wedding

Wedding bells are ringing in the 90210 ZIP code, and former Beverly Hills 90210 star Tori Spelling (the erstwhile "Donna Martin") sees an opportunity for a high-school reunion of sorts. Fellow 90210 alum Shannen Doherty (a.k.a. "Brenda Walsh") is going to be married on television in her own as-yet-untitled WE reality series, which will be all about her life with fiancé Kurt Iswarienko. Spelling, now a wedding planner with another reality series of her own, Oxygen's Tori & Dean: sTORIbook Weddings, has offered up her services. "I'll do the wedding," she tells ET Canada.

Spelling, 38, isn't just offering up her talents, but also the cooking skills of her husband Dean McDermott. "He's in culinary school now," Spelling says. "He's always had an interest in being a chef." Can he bake a wedding cake though?

We might get the chance to see -- that is, if Doherty, 40, is up for letting her old pal Spelling pitch in. But Spelling says it all depends on what kind of wedding Shannen wants. "People's tastes change. I could probably comment on the wedding she'd want 20 years ago, but that wouldn't make any sense," Tori admits. "I don't know. She has great taste, I know that."

Spelling, now pregnant with her third child, still shows the ambition and smarts for which she has become known post-90210. "I would love to do more than just weddings," she says enthusiastically. "I just want to keep building this little empire, this little train that could. I feel like I'm up this little hill, just keep going -- chugging along."

And Doherty, once a famous "bad girl", continues to try to put that bad reputation behind her, with appearances on Dancing With the Stars and her upcoming reality show. A producer for her new show states that Doherty will show an "unfiltered, honest and vulnerable" side, something her fans have always sensed -- beneath that very tough exterior.

Will Brenda Walsh let her old classmate Donna Martin plan her wedding? Brenda has yet to comment.
