What kind of wedding gift do you give the royal couple who has everything?

The wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton is on Friday (April 29), so MTV News reached out to some of our favorite Hollywood celebrities — from Ke$ha to Adam Lambert. Fortunately, they had some solid ideas!

"I haven't met them, so it would be kind of awkward," the "Tik Tok" singer admitted to MTV News. "I might paint them something. Maybe I'll paint them a guitar."

Like Ke$ha, other celebs had suggestions that were from the heart, even if they weren't the most practical.

"I will go out on a limb and say these two individuals maybe haven't had Uncrustables before in their life. I would get them a strawberry Uncrustable," Mike Posner said about the pastry.

David Cook followed up on the all-American food idea. "I feel like they have everything except maybe they probably don't have an Applebee's gift card. I'll go [with an] Applebee's gift card," the "American Idol" alum said.

Other stars said they'd gift the British prince and soon-to-be-princess with an item they were personally best known for.

"I'd probably buy William some eyeliner," Lambert said. "He could do that, he could rock that look. I think."

Ne-Yo was more empathetic, saying he would give gifts that could help shield them from photographers and blend in with everyday people. "Three years' supply of sunglasses. Yeah, put them on. A bunch of baseball caps, throw those on, and try to move around like regular people," the singer said. "I can't imagine what it would be like having to live under that big of a magnifying glass your whole life ... and fake mustaches, that's what I'd give them."

Brooke Burke went the more traditional route, saying she would get Will and Kate a journal to record the big event. "I would ask them to really take the time to write down thoughts and phrases and wishes," Burke said. "And not really to lose sight of how they feel about each other now and to really hold on to that feeling."

Kathy Griffin had good intentions but the comedian couldn't resist a puke joke.

"If I had to get the royal couple a gift, I would get them the Royal Couple Vomit Bag, which someone sent me a photo of," Griffin told us. "So you can actually buy vomit bags with their image on it, and I think that that is an honor and I hope that they see it as such."

Green Lantern' Special-Effects Wiz Took 'Artistic License

Ryan Reynolds, director Martin Campbell and designer Neville Page explain creatures' creation to MTV News.

Nowadays, it seems moviegoers don't see anything that isn't at least partially CGI-enhanced — especially when talking about summer blockbusters and comic book movies. Not that we're complaining. A movie like "Green Lantern," which opened Friday (June 17), wouldn't be possible without a heavy assist from computer-graphics specialists and visual-effects teams.

When MTV News caught up with the film's star, Ryan Reynolds, director Martin Campbell and creature designer Neville Page at the premiere this week, we asked them about the challenges involved in acting and working with so many non-existing environments.

"I had pretty strong visual cues to work with," Reynolds said. He explained that he was mostly working with actual people, actors who wore green-screen suits and were later replaced or enhanced with CGI in postproduction.

Campbell said that although a lot of the time the actors were playing off "tennis balls on C-stands," they all learned to work from nothing. "You're sitting in a blue cave for god knows how long, and after a while, it's fine," he said. "You sort of adjust to it, you get used to it like anything else, it becomes the norm.

Regarding the specifics of the film's visual and CG-related feats, Page admitted that the alien characters, Tomar-Re and Kilowog (voiced by Geoffrey Rush and Michael Clarke Duncan), proved to be particularly difficult.

"As soon as I saw the comic book design of it ... I thought, 'How are we gonna get a chicken guy to work realistically next to Ryan Reynolds and not have people laugh?' " Page said of designing Tomar-Re.

"Kilowog was a similar character," he added. "Obviously, we're mindful — very mindful — of the fanbase and their expectation of what they are hoping to see," he explained, mentioning details like body-part proportions and skin texture. "But at the same time, you have to take artistic license to bring these things to true, CG, cinematic life," he said.

Check out everything we've got on "Green Lantern."

Britney Spears Takes Down Paparazzi In 'I Wanna Go' Teaser

Spears sashays around NYC knocking out photogs with her microphone in the video, which debuts Wednesday.

It's been a while since Britney Spears decided to take down the paparazzi in one of her music videos (see "Pieces of Me"). In a new teaser for her "I Wanna Go" clip, a fit and smiling Spears is seeking ninja-like vengeance against her biggest enemies: the paparazzi and their prying lenses.

In the 30-second tease of the Chris Marrs Piliero-directed video, set to officially drop on Wednesday, Spears stands on a Los Angeles soundstage that's set to look like New York City and surveys the scene. She's standing atop a taxi, while cameramen surround her from all angles. Wielding a microphone, the singer whips it around like a weapon, knocking the paps from their positions.

These scenes are intercut with Spears standing alone and singing into that same microphone, wearing the T-shirt depicting a skull with Mickey Mouse ears from the single's cover art.

Spears tweeted out some stills from the video as well. In one, she's seen walking down a city street past an NYPD cop car. In another, with her hair undone and wearing a tight red shirt and lots of necklaces, she poses in profile up against a wall, lights flashing around her.

Sneak peeks of the "I Wanna Go" video seem to prove that the visuals will certainly match the song's reckless-abandon lyrics about busting loose from the confines of life, regardless of the consequences. She sings, "Lately I've been stuck imaginin'/ What I wanna do and what I really think, time to blow out/ Be a little inappropriate 'cause I know that everybody's/ Thinkin' it when the lights out/ Shame on me/ To need release/ Un-uncontrollably."

Crystal Harris Parties with Heidi Montag in Vegas

Crystal Harris Parties with Heidi Montag in Vegas

It was the day she was supposed to become Mrs. Hugh Hefner but, instead of walking down the aisle, Crystal Harris celebrated the single life poolside in Las Vegas. Joined by reality star Heidi Montag, the runaway bride soaked up the sun and posed for photos at Sin City's Wet Republic.

"I'm doing okay," she told People.com, as she and Montag had some fun with the new issue of Playboy (that features Harris on the cover). "I just had to get away. Today is the day and I just had to get away. I'm going back tonight so I just wanted to get away for the day."

Though she may be sad, Harris, 25, insists she has no regrets about calling off her wedding to the 85-year-old Hefner.

"I just knew when it was getting close it wasn't fair to (Hefner) and wasn't fair to go through with it. I wanted to be true to myself and be true to what was best for everybody," she says. "I love (Hefner). He is the sweetest person I've ever met in my entire life and I'll always love him and he'll always be a dear friend and I'll always visit him all the time."

As for her rumored relationship with Dr. Phil's son, Jordan McGraw, the playmate insists that he had nothing to do with her decision to walk away from Hef.

"Jordan is one of my really good friends. We've been working on music for a year and he will continue to be my good friend and I really need my good friends right now," she says.

With plans to visit Hef on Monday to return her engagement ring, Harris says she wants to put the broken engagement behind her. "I just want to move forward," she says.

But, while Harris and pal Montag partied it up with fans on what was supposed to be her wedding day, there was at least one person who thought Harris' public showing was less than classy.

"That's a new low," Holly Madison, former star of The Girls Next Door and Hefner's one-time serious girlfriend Tweeted Saturday. "That's disgusting," she wrote, "and whoever booked her is tacky."
