While Willow Smith is the one who made music headlines with "Whip My Hair" last year, it's her brother, "Karate Kid" actor Jaden Smith, who will take the stage at the upcoming 53rd Grammy Awards in a special performance alongside Usher and Justin Bieber, with whom he collaborated on the song "Never Say Never" last summer.

The trio joins a list of new performers added to the show on Thursday (January 20) that will also include another power trifecta made up of B.o.B, Bruno Mars and Janelle Monáe, according to a press release from the Recording Academy announcing the additions to the February 13 telecast from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Also taking the stage next month will be nominees Muse and Lady Antebellum. They will join a roster of previously announced performers that includes Eminem, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Arcade Fire, Cee Lo Green and Miranda Lambert. It will be the first time on the Grammy performance stage for Bieber, B.o.B, Lambert, Mars, Monáe, Muse and Smith. Eminem, Green, Gaga, Perry, Usher and Lady Antebellum will be making return visits for the occasion.

While 11-time Grammy winner Eminem leads the pack in nominations this year (with 10 nods), Mars has seven nominations, and Gaga and Lady Antebellum are not far behind with six nods each. B.o.B has notched five, Perry and Green are each up for four, and Arcade Fire and Lambert are vying for three awards. Bieber, Muse, Usher and Monáe are each nominated for two Grammys.

No details of the collaborative performances were released, but the Grammy announcement promised a rare, never-before-seen event for the Mars, B.o.B and Monáe segment.

With the addition of Antebellum, all five Album of the Year nominees (Eminem, Arcade Fire, Gaga, Perry) are now scheduled to perform on the show. Additional performers, presenters and special segments will be announced soon.

Adam Lambert's 'Whole Lotta Love': The Story Behind The Cover

Glam rocker tackled the legendary 1970 Led Zeppelin song for 'American Idol' rock night.

Imagine a freight train speeding toward you at midnight. Or a rockslide barreling down a hill as you try to outrace it. That's the feeling of the ominous, chugging Jimmy Page riff that kicks off Led Zeppelin's 1970 Stonehenge of rock, "Whole Lotta Love." And that's before singer Robert Plant leans into one of the nastiest, ecstatic rock screams this side of the Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again."

That's the song Adam Lambert chose to sing on "American Idol" rock night Tuesday (May 5), and, needless to say, it was a challenge that the eyeliner-loving Los Angeles stage veteran was more than up for, hitting a series of high notes and rock screams that would have made Plant proud. It was a risky maneuver that paid off for Lambert, who chose a tune that came in at #75 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" in 2004.

The legendary British rock act recorded the tribute to Chicago blues icon Willie Dixon during their second U.S. tour after working it out in their live show, including it on their 1969 classic album Led Zeppelin II. Like many of the songs Zeppelin performed early in their career, "Love" was a blues standard turned on its head with a heavy dose of crunching psychedelic guitar and thundering drums, courtesy of late drummer John Bonham. The song was based on a 1962 tune by another blues forefather, Muddy Waters, called "You Need Love," which was penned by Dixon.

For Zeppelin's version, Plant customized the lyrics by adding some lyrical quotes from a few other songs Dixon wrote for Howlin' Wolf, "Back Door Man" and "Shake For Me," nailing the tricky vocal in a single take. It was also inspired by 1966's "You Need Loving" from the British rock group the Small Faces, for whom Zeppelin had great affection, but they also did not credit Dixon for his part in writing the original lyrics. The song became Zeppelin's first U.S. single and their only U.S. top 10 hit. Though their manager would not let them release singles in the U.K. because he thought it cannibalized album sales, the song was finally released as the band's only British single in 1997.

Dixon sued Zeppelin over the song in 1985, claiming it borrowed too heavily from his "You Need Love," and Zeppelin reached an agreement with him, with Dixon using the money he received to set up a program that provided musical instruments for schools. A cornerstone of heavy rock, the tune -- which was the theme song for the long-running British countdown show "Top of the Pops" in the 1970s and '80s -- has been covered by dozens of artists over the years, from Tina Turner and Ben Harper to Prince, Slash, Leona Lewis, Train's Pat Monahan, the London Symphony Orchestra and Jane's Addiction.

Britney Spears Penned Track For Selena Gomez

A rep for the young Disney star confirms that Spears did write for her.

After some hoopla was made over the fact that Britney Spears didn't write any of the tracks on the U.S. version of Femme Fatale, the songstress is making up for it elsewhere. MTV News has confirmed that Spears wrote a track for Selena Gomez's June album release.

While a rep for Gomez couldn't confirm the name of the song, Ace Showbiz reported last week it is called "Whiplash."

Spears has, in fact, co-written more than a dozen songs for five out of her seven albums over the course of her career. She even helped pen two of her singles, "Everytime" and the Madonna collaboration "Me Against the Music." She also wrote a song called "Scary" for the Japanese version of Femme Fatale.

Gomez has said she's quite a huge Spears fan and told MTV News that she plans to include a Britney Spears tribute on her upcoming summer tour. "We are working on a few cover songs. We are working on a Britney tribute, which I'm so stoked about, 'cause I love Britney. I was like, 'I have to do it.' I wanna do a mash-up of all her songs and just go for it," she said. "We're gonna do a little tribute. We're gonna do her hits, ' ... Baby One More Time,' and then I think we're going to try to incorporate 'Toxic' and that phase. And then we might do some of her recent, new stuff."

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes Treat Suri to a Sweet Candy Stop

Suri must have a sweet tooth - Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes took her to Dylan's Candy Bar in NYC this afternoon. The almost 5-year-old picked out Easter treats, which were much more appropriate than the X-rated gummies she unknowingly checked out last month. Suri should have plenty more desserts in her future, though, since her fifth birthday is next week. The family already started celebrating the milestone, and they apparently have more parties in store as Katie continues to gear up for her "favorite day of the year."

'Scream 4' Stars All Insist They're Not The Killer

'My character's not the killer because maybe she is,' Courteney Cox teases MTV News.

For the die-hard "Scream" fans out there, one of the many joys in watching the films for the first time is trying to figure out who the killer is. With the release of the fourth installment of the franchise just days away, rumors and speculation are running rampant across the interwebs.

To help you narrow down your list of potential killers, MTV News had the cast of "Scream 4" make a case for why you won't see their characters wielding any knives or wearing Ghostface masks come Friday.

"My character is not the killer, because she knows horror movies too well," Hayden Panettiere said of her spunky, know-it-all character Kirby Reed. "She knows how they work, and she's too terrified in that scene in the preview."

"I can't do it because O.J. already did it," Anthony Anderson joked about his character, Deputy Perkins.

"Yeah. That would be racist," added co-star Adam Brody. "You're not going to have the black guy killing all the white people."

"No," Anderson agreed.

"And yeah, my guy is just kind of a dummy," Brody said of Deputy Hoss. "I could be putting everyone on, but I don't think I have enough screen time to totally be the killer, but maybe?"

David Arquette, who returns to the franchise as Dewey Riley went for a more cryptic approach.

"I'm not the killer, because I am the killer," he said.

"My character's not the killer because maybe she is," Courteney Cox said of intrepid nosy reporter Gail Weathers, coincidentally echoing the same phrase as her onscreen husband.

"My character is not the killer because she's Sydney Prescott," said Neve Campbell, who returns to the franchise as the central character.

"My character Jill is not the killer because she's Sydney's cousin — hel-lo!" Emma Roberts argued.

And finally, Aimee Teegarden weighed in: "Why am I not the killer? I'm not the killer because I have great hair in the movie," she said. "And if you have great hair, you don't die — bottom line."

So what do you think, "Scream" fans? Is one of them lying? Tell us in the comments!
